Not a numbers game
For years, numbers defined my health.
A 5-day hospitalization, 14 UTI's, 21 rounds of antibiotics, 8 ER visits, 4 knee surgeries, 3 PRP injections, 2 colonoscopies, 1 cystoscopy, 1 kidney stone, countless doctors and $1000s spent figuring out what was 'wrong with me'...all before turning 30!
My integrative health training means I've learnt about lifestyle medicine, allowing me to navigate these challenges with resilience, hope and optimism (and no numbers!).
Identifying the little wins is everything. This past year has been filled with many victories.
Each day is a new opportunity to pursue health and wellbeing.
For that, I am grateful!
